The Private Party Experience

Make your next celebration unforgettable with a Private Party at North End Market Candle Bar. Our Private Party option offers a fun, creative setting where your guests can relax, connect, and make personalized products together.

Your group will receive 2½ hours of private access to the Candle Bar area. The boutique’s retail section will remain open to the public, giving your guests the opportunity to shop and explore our unique collection throughout the event.

Important Scheduling Information
When booking, please select a reservation time that is at least 30 minutes before your desired guest arrival time. This additional time creates a comfortable transition between events, allows for late arrivals, and gives the preceding party enough time to conclude its activities.

The additional 30 minutes will not reduce your group’s allotted 2½-hour Private Party experience.

For example, if you would like your guests to arrive at 3:00 PM, please reserve the 2:30 PM appointment time.

Create Your Own Signature Fragrance
Your experience begins at our fragrance bar, where guests can explore our collection of 120+ fragrances. Each person can mix, match, and experiment with different fragrance combinations to create a scent that is completely their own.

Whether your guests prefer fresh and clean, warm and cozy, sweet, floral, fruity, or woodsy fragrances, our team will provide guidance and inspiration throughout the scent-blending process.

Choose Your Project
Your guests are not limited to making candles. Each person can select from a variety of available custom-scented projects, including:

• Candles

• Laundry detergent

• Reed diffusers

• Body scrubs

• Bath salts

• Fabric softener

• Foaming hand soap

• Shower gel

• Room and linen spray

• Body spray

• Hand and body lotion

Our team will guide your guests through their selected projects, making the experience enjoyable for beginners and experienced makers alike.

Private Party Details

• Private access: Exclusive use of the Candle Bar area

• Experience length: 2½ hours

• Group capacity: Up to 20 guests seated at the Candle Bar and up to 40 guests throughout the store

• Group spending minimum: $600

• Reservation fee: One-time, nonrefundable $25 booking fee

• Food and beverages: You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages

The $600 group spending minimum may be met through the projects selected by your guests and any retail purchases made during the event.

Whether you are celebrating a milestone or simply gathering your favorite people, your guests will leave with something they created and memories they made together.

Candle Curing and Pickup
Candles require approximately three hours to cure, while larger candle vessels may need additional time.

For same-day pickup, your event must take place at least three hours before the store closes. Same-day pickup cannot always be guaranteed due to curing time and staffing availability, but we will do our best to accommodate guests traveling from out of town.

Candles may also be collected:

• The next business day after 1:00 PM

• At any time within two weeks of the event
   

Candles that are not collected within two weeks will be donated without a refund or store credit.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your Private Party, please call us at (248) 500-9796 at least 72 hours before your appointment.

Please keep the following policies in mind:

• The $25 booking fee is nonrefundable.

• Rescheduling requests must be received at least 72 hours in advance.

• Requests made less than 72 hours before the appointment cannot be accommodated, and the booking fee will be forfeited.

• Each reservation may be rescheduled one time only.
