How much does it cost to make something? Pricing varies depending on the product and vessel you choose for your pour. Our candle vessels come in a variety of styles and sizes — ranging from 6 oz all the way up to 150 oz — so there's something for every budget and every vibe.

What are your candles made of? Only the good stuff. We use natural soy wax, premium fragrance oils, and cotton wicks — a combo that delivers the cleanest burn possible without releasing harmful chemicals into the air. Our soy candle making process is designed to give you the best experience AND the best candle. (A tiny bit of soot is normal with any candle, even the cleanest ones — totally nothing to worry about!)
Can I make the scent stronger? Will it be stronger when I burn it? We totally get it — you want ALL the scent! Here's the thing: there's a little science behind custom candle making, and adding more fragrance oil actually compromises the integrity of the wax and how well your candle burns. So we keep it perfectly balanced.
Your candle might smell subtle when it's unlit (that's called cold throw), but once it's burning? That's where the magic happens — the hot throw is where your scent really shines. For the best scent experience, let your candle cure for two weeks before lighting. Can't wait? No worries — it'll still smell amazing! 🙌
Can I bring my own vessel? We appreciate the creativity, but we're not able to allow outside vessels. Since we can't confirm the safety of outside containers or how they handle heat, we keep things in-house to make sure you're always safe. Our vessel selection is pretty great anyway — we think you'll find something you love!
⏱️ Pickup & Timing
How long does it take for my candle to be ready? Plan for at least 3 hours for your candle to fully cure and be ready for pickup — larger vessels may need a little extra time. If you'd like to take your candle home the same day, aim to arrive at least 3 hours before closing.
A heads-up: same-day pickup isn't always guaranteed due to staffing, but we always do our absolute best to make it happen — especially for out-of-town guests searching for a candle bar near me! If same-day isn't possible, you're welcome to pick up your candle the following business day after 1 PM, or anytime within two weeks. Please note that unclaimed candles after two weeks will be donated, with no refund or credit provided.

My candle is creating soot. Is this normal? A little soot is completely normal — it happens with any flame! But if you're seeing a lot of smoke or soot, these simple candle care tips will make a big difference:

♻️ What's Next for Your Vessel
I've burned my candle down to the last drop — can I bring it back to reuse or refill it? Once a vessel leaves our building, we can't confirm its safety for reuse or refilling — so unfortunately, we're not able to refill returned vessels. Your safety always comes first!
The good news? Most vessels can't be reused, but some of our premium novelty vessels can — ask our team about those!
